Licensed Clinician
HOPE Program is a distinguished forensic mental health clinic specializing in the rehabilitation of individuals who have encountered the legal system due to sexual offenses. Certified by the California Sex Offender Management Board (CASOMB), we employ cutting-edge research to provide services that mitigate the risk of reoffending while enhancing public safety.
Our mission is to deliver effective, confidential treatment within a non-judgmental and supportive environment, facilitating transformation and preventing future victimization. HOPE Program tailors its services to a diverse clientele, including adult male and female offenders, developmentally delayed individuals, mentally disordered offenders, sexually abusive adolescents, and a Chaperone Training Program.
As a Clinician at HOPE Program, you will bring with you some supervision experience along with expertise in sex offender and forensic matters. Your primary role will involve providing supervision and training to staff, as well as direct services to the forensic population.
The program’s Licensed Clinician fulfills a role and is responsible for the following:

Conduct clinical assessments and provide treatment to sex offenders.

Conduct clinical assessments and provide treatment to non-offending relatives.

Handle case management responsibilities.

Maintain program documentation as required.

Represent the agency in the community, such as serving on committees and making presentations on our programs.

Participate actively in agency clinical meetings, team meetings, staff meetings, and in-service training.

Provide individualized and group supervision for both unlicensed and licensed staff.

Ensure the upkeep of agency documentation as required.

Maintain ongoing communication with referral sources.

Attend relevant training, conferences, and workshops.

Offer supervision to Practicum Students and registered supervisees with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants for this position must possess the following attributes:
• Masters Degree in Psychology or related field
• Licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the State of California
• Minimum of 2 years of overall adult sex offender treatment experience, or 5 years of clinical experience with other populations as an independent, licensed practitioner.
