Clinical Coordinator

HOPE Program is a distinguished forensic mental health clinic specializing in the rehabilitation of individuals who have encountered the legal system due to sexual offenses. Certified by the California Sex Offender Management Board (CASOMB), we employ cutting-edge research to provide services that mitigate the risk of reoffending while enhancing public safety.

 

Our mission is to deliver effective, confidential treatment within a non-judgmental and supportive environment, facilitating transformation and preventing future victimization. HOPE Program tailors its services to a diverse clientele, including adult male and female offenders, developmentally delayed individuals, mentally disordered offenders, sexually abusive adolescents, and a Chaperone Training Program.

 

As the Clinical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of clinical services while supporting the Clinical Director in meeting our contractual obligations. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality services and maintains the highest standards of treatment for both HOPE Program staff and clients.

 

The program’s Clinical Coordinator fulfills a role and is responsible for the following:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide treatment for your assigned caseload.

  • Maintain a minimum of 50% of Direct Client Contact.

  • Responsively handle emails, calls, and written correspondence for clients within and outside of your care and assigned program(s).

  • Actively participate in program and site development, contributing to the expansion of services.

  • Represent HOPE at county meetings, including but not limited to case management or containment meetings, to facilitate collaboration of services as requested.

  • Oversee the completion of reports and documentation for assigned programs/sites as required by supervising authorities and aligned with best practices.

  • Provide basic employment supervision for assigned teams in programs/territories and escalate employment issues/concerns to the Clinical Director.

  • Attend court dates for certifying counties, as requested.

  • Act as the agency's representative both within the organization and the community, delivering presentations and training sessions as needed.

  • Develop new relationships with stakeholders.

  • Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new employees.

  • Demonstrate positive leadership skills.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants for this position must possess the following attributes:

  1. Master's Degree in Psychology or a related field.

  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting.

  3. Minimum of 1 year of experience with the HOPE Program.

  4. Registered with BBS or BOP (Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology).
